the prompt had this text:

"Seadweller who lives in a sunken ship ; regal but a recluse , has porcelain bjd-like prosthetic legs , collects broken pottery and dolls , use of pearls and ouji lolita style in design"

I kinda wanted to play against the expectations set up in this piece since it felt like a very specific fantasy. I was doodling out ideas for the outfit but she came up fully formed really quickly and I think she's my favorite even if she is the messiest from a technical standpoint (besides the hands those rock).

Afrotextured hair is fun to draw, her hair + cloak + hat form the shape of a vase! Homestuck trolls do have races but they all have the same skin tones, she is still black lol.

I forgot entirely about the pearls element I should've made the gold bits into pearl-y stuff. Ouji lolita makes me think of poofy shorts, I do think otherwise I need more practice doing loose clothing since I draw so much tight fitting clothing (because I love latex and how it looks + a lot of other tight fitting garments).

I really do not know how her horns work. do not ask how her horns work.
