honestly did it on a whim since i thought the sprite was cute and some people were making joking "homestuck bad" comments. Idk I never found "homestuck bad" to be a funny joke. I was originally just going to leave it as a sketch, however I finished this mostly because a different piece I'm working was likely a bit too spicy to work on around other people (it'll be sfw. sorry.)

I did this as an orb head and then did it in a lineless look both to match the comic and also because I used to draw like this in 2023 and I wanted to compare/contrast it with myself. I felt weird not adding a nose, it took 40x more layers and it made drawing more complicated as a result in spite of it being drawn and finished in about an hour.* The arm (specifically the lowered arm) looks a bit thin? I'll have to refine that another time. I can't decide if the 4 fingered hand is good or bad (i like it but it does feel a little weird lol). Since I only had an armless sprite I had to extrapolate a design, I referenced one of lonelytiefling's selfies and they were wearing a blouse with poofy sleeves/neck so i decided to lean into that, plus it kinda fits the clown aesthetic.

*Good to know I finally achieved my "2 hour homestuck style half body" goal.
