Perhaps it's the delerium of long-winded hunger that they must endure in these food-scarce lands, but amidst all their struggles surviving out in the hostile wilderness, Beryl also has to couple with terrible visions of rust and devastation... Visions of a spreading corruption that sweep the land and devour everything in their wake, spawning vile beasts the likes of which they've seen before in the wilds; only much more twisted and mangled... And those colossal beasts that seem to stare into her soul, the very idea of them threatening her and her companion Val frightens her to no-end!\n\n\nOf course, Val is always there to shake her out of her fears and reassure her feline partner. So long as she isn't out in the distant lands hunting their next meal to share, Val spends as much of her time as she can by Beryl's side, especially when the poor Cat is having another bout of visions. \n\n\nHere it was a particularly terrible night; Beryl had spend the past two days all alone while Val was out foraging and hunting; and upon her return, the Wolfess was shocked to find Beryl in the midst of what seemed like a ritual of sorts? Something to appease the creatures in her visions.
