I heard MissMixi (nsfw) was going off on a Japanese vacation here pretty soon, and that got me thinking...

What if Mixi... but KIMONO.

So I spent a day or two reading up on kimonos, symbolism, culture, etc etc, taking great care to get as much of her look as authentic as possible. Eventually I settled on a semi-formal komon style kimono with a floral pattern because neither the geisha or oiran styles of dress really meshed well with Mixi's aesthetic. I'm honestly rather proud of how this one turned out!
