This is the (more or less) finalized version of my entry to the Piczel.tv mascot contest. Most things are optional here, I was going for a techno-idol kind of design.

Since the main motif of the Piczel logo seems to be test patterns, a test pattern motif was used in her stylings, including a monoscope pattern on the back. The main characteristics here are the headset, which is a version of the Piczel.tv logo on one side, with the boom side can looking like the back end of an old-style CRT. The character's hair went through several color tests, and although I settled on a purple color, it can be drawn to anyone's preference. The main feature of the hair is the iridescent sheen, emphasized by a few brightly colored bangs in front which are meant to evoke the pastel aesthetic of the Piczel logo's color bars.

Character could be humanoid or android based on preference; if android, the outer body material could be made of hard plastics and carbon fiber. If humanoid, the costume would be more akin to a leather racing suit / plugsuit / etc, with neoprene mesh for breathability and flex.

A collar, cuffs and bow tie top off the "idol" part of the aesthetic.
